PNW Ozone Trail Jersey

The PNW Ozone Trail Jersey has to be my new favorite ride jersey. Just in time too for the Austin Texas heat to arrive. The Ozone Jersey is made from a breathable and soft mélange of wool and polyester. Right out of the gate during the first mile of a trail ride, I noticed the jersey would flow and not stick to my skin. This was a good sign given how hot it was for the evening ride, knowing by the end sweat would take over.

The PNW Ozone Trail Jersey is stated to be breathable, moisture-wicking, and quick drying which I found out first hand. The jersey would dry quickly during the trail descents, and flow with the wind. Really good feeling to have a jersey that flows like that and not become sticky with sweat.

The under arm perforations in the jersey did their job keeping me cool. And the PNW logo at the jersey’s edge is a nice touch. I like the fit around the shoulders and arms when holding on to the handlebars shredding down the trail. Here in Austin, there are plenty of short sharp branches to catch and rip a loose jersey. Not the case here. The fit was just right for me. After 12 miles of riding trail I really did forget the jersey was there, as it fits well. Not loose or to tight in any of those locations that get irritated during a longer trail ride.

PNW Ozone Trail Jersey is 20/80 wool/polyester blend is soft, breathable, moisture-wicking, quick drying, anti-bacterial, and bluesign® approved. Longer-than-usual short sleeves and a contoured hem drop tail provide coverage from the elements, while an understated style is equally at home off the bike. With durable flatlock construction, soft, texturized threads and laser perforations for additional ventilation, you’ll forget you’re wearing a jersey at all.

The PNW Ozone Trail Jersey is subtle which I like. It’s very comfortable in a wide array of conditions and has done very well here in the Austin Texas heat. The jersey doesn’t have a pocket or a glasses wipe, but I really don’t use those anyway. The jersey arrived in a compostable bag which is a nice touch! The jersey performed well and came out of the wash fine. I recommend it.
